Morning to the wonderful people at African Game Lodge. We spent the past weekend at the Lodge and had the time of our lives. What a wonderful place to stay. Our son and daughter-in-law arrived on 1st May and we left on the Sunday 3 May. We loved every minute of it. Everything is so perfect. The quietness and all the animals. The folk there are so pleasant. Mark is a real asset to the place. Our game drive on the Saturday was an experience that will be with us always. The cheetahs are magnificent. Delightful Spot
Daphne, Ian, Joyce and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Game Lodge. It was not only a great experience but the hospitality of Natalie and Michael and indeed the whole team was nothing else but superb. What a delightful spot you have and it certainly is a place where one gets a chance to recharge the batteries. We also enjoyed the opportunity to go on one of the early morning walks and be briefed on the fauna and flora, which we found most interesting. The drives were always entertaining and again seeing the wildlife and their ever-changing environment. What we liked about it was the informality and presentation. Then we had the opportunity of meeting you cheetah family. Some wild and some tame. What a privilege to be able to interact with these great animals and to touch them and learn all about their natural habitat. You are most fortunate to have Natalie and Michael looking after the guests and providing super meals supported by good wine and conversation. I personally like the idea of sitting around the fire after dinner. We wish the team every success for the future.

What Fabulous Surroundings...
We just wanted to say a big thank you for making our stay with you, while on holiday in South Africa such a memorable occasion. We enjoyed ourselves so much and really liked your attention to detail in the chalet, joining us for wine and the delicious supper and needless to say, the drive around the lodge. I could go on and on! What fabulous surroundings! In the not too distant future and a longer stay, next time, at the African Game Lodge seems a "must".

Overnight Stay at African Game Lodge
We were warmly greeted and shown to a quality chalet with all possible appliances readily available. The two experiences, which will stay with us, are patting the cheetahs and the safari game drive. During the drive we were fortunate enough to see Gemsbok, Eland, Oryx, Duiker, Black Cape Buffalo and several birds of prey. The safari game Lodge is a very peaceful stopover for one or two days and can be recommended to all who travel along the inner "Garden Route" ( Montagu, Oudtshoorn ).

More than expected
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We so enjoyed ourselves and only wished we could sit on that stoep in the warm spring climate for a week at least. No tv, no noise, except for the birds. The accommodation was more than expected and very pleasant. We will be back, bringing family with us.

Wonderful delights
Just a short note to express Sheelagh and my appreciation and sincere gratitude to you all for affording us the opportunity of experiencing the wonderful delights of your magnificent African Game Lodge. In fact, it is with regret that we cannot do true justice to your game farm in as much that we are unable to adequately express in words the true beauty and magnificence of its country side. As far as we are concerned this part of the country must surely be Gods “own” country. The introduction of wild cheetahs, in secure natural habitat pens, is a great attraction. Having young wildebeests following us about the main dining area of the accommodation site still brings a smile to our faces. The wild game such as springbok, wildebeest and various other species of antelope as well as ostriches was wonderful to see. Your open 4 x 4 vehicle drives about the farm were truly special. It brought us very close to the natural habitat, its beauty, vastness and the oh so clean, clean smell of pure unpolluted air. Our journey to inspect the bushman rock paintings of century’s gone buy was yet again such a pleasant experience. For anyone who enjoys out door pleasures such as camping, hiking, fishing and such like your farm is an absolute must to visit. Your dams are large and of great beauty. I must accept your word that they are stocked with an abundance of fish just waiting to be caught and put onto the frying pan or braai. Our accommodation was great. We thank you for this. The furnishing of the unit was most pleasing to the eye and comfortable. Having hot water on tap was also a great feature. My personal greatest enjoyment however was sitting around the boma at night with the great log fire burning and looking up at the stars of the clear sky and experiencing the inner feeling of peace, harmony and serenity. Once again thank you for the wonderful experience.

It is incredible
It has just opened and it is incredible, they have 6 chalets to stay in, a lovely lapa/braai area and a pub with a warm fireplace. This all forms part of the beauty and tranquillity.
